Who is Anago Osho?

Anago Osho (also known as James Akeem Anago-Osho and Anago James Akeem Osho), is a talented Storyteller and Antiquarian. He conducts special tours and promotes community and sustainable tourism. He is an author, a renowned cultural diplomat and advocate of African perspectives in African historical curation.

He is a slave history and roots reconnection researcher. He is ambassador for DNA Tested African Descendants. He is a multiple award winning tourism proffessional and curator at the Slave Museum Badagry and the Afro-Brazilian Cultural Centre Lagos Island. He serves as a bridge between Africa and Africa Diaspora. He is the Proprietor of Anago James Akeem Osho Adventures.

Anago Osho has toured thousands of Black people from Diaspora across Nigeria and West Africa. He believes that the reconnection of Africa and Africa Diaspora is one of his primary mission earth.

He founded Global Anago Adventures Limited. He is a co-founder and President of Association Of History, Nature And Culture Tour Guides - Nigeria  (AHNACTG). He is the Secretary of Nigeria Association Of Tour Operators (NATOP). He is membership Secretary 1 of Federation Of Tourism Associations Of Nigeria LAGOS STATE CHAPTER (FTAN LAGOS). He is the facilitator of Badagry Beyond The Chain Project.

He teaches tourism, tour guiding and offer training on conservation, preservation and restoration. He is an adept of antiquity and social science.

The name Dahomey was changed to Benin Republic in 1975.

Dear brother Anago Osho, When you have the time, could you share some information with me. I was under the impression that the Africans in the Republic of Benin known as Nago were Yoruba. In fact I thought they were call Nago because they may have been from the Anago. When I was in the Republic of Benin last. I was in the town Quidah. I happen to meet a Yoruba man who was working as a tour guide on one of these European tour buses. He was a Yoruba from Ibadan. In my conversation with him, he informed me that the Nago were not Yoruba. How can this be? I wanted to debate with this Brother, but I change my mind.
