[25/01 19:17] Anago Osho Adventures: Winning awards may not really be the true test for hard work. It is good and inspiring when hard works are recognized.
For me Awards simply means, work harder.
[25/01 19:19] Anago Osho Adventures: I really appreciate all organizations that have presented me awards from all over the world. Thank you.
[25/01 19:20] +234 816 935 9028: 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽

[25/01 19:22] +234 816 021 5068: ✍🏻✍🏻
[25/01 19:22] Anago Osho Adventures: I do not support awards where people vote. It is not the best test of ability. Those who are working May not have time to tell people to vote for them.
[25/01 19:23] Anago Osho Adventures: For some one like me who is always travelling and working, it was Grace and sincere people's efforts.
[25/01 19:24] +234 816 935 9028: Very valid point

"Africa Diaspora" is for those of us not really familiar with the term before we move on to our next question sir..
[25/01 19:30] Anago Osho Adventures: Africa Diaspora is the term used to refer to Black people of African ancestry that reside outside of Africa, that lives in places like Jamaica, Barbados, England, Haiti, Belize, Bermuda etc.
[25/01 19:32] +234 816 935 9028: Thank you boss... And on this note I would like to take a now for few mins and pass the mic to my boss IBM to start the section B of the tourism gist😎
[25/01 19:32] Anago Osho Adventures: Alright family
[25/01 19:34] IBM 3: 👌

Thanks so much dearie

It has really been beautiful section with @Anago Osho Adventures . Am sure so many people is really learning so much like am doing 💪🏼💪🏼

Welcome to Section C

We have only 5 questions for you and I believe this will be fun...
[25/01 19:35] IBM 3: My first question

We know your name is spelled HAKEEM. Why not AKIM?
[25/01 19:35] IBM 3: @Anago Osho Adventures
[25/01 19:36] Anago Osho Adventures: My names are Anago James Akeem Osho
[25/01 19:36] IBM 3: Ok But why not spelled AKIM?
[25/01 19:37] Anago Osho Adventures: I do not spell my name with a H.
To many, this question may not be relevant but it is important to me and I will share my experience.
[25/01 19:39] Anago Osho Adventures: As a teenager, my African American friends spelt my name like this: Hakiem, some Akim
[25/01 19:39] IBM 3: Thank you 🙏🏼

This section strictly deals with our culture and tradition as Nigerians.
[25/01 19:43] Anago Osho Adventures: Akeem Olajuwon the great basketballer changed his name from Akeem to Hakeem because to him it was more Islamic and he knows that in Nigeria, the Yorubas spell Akeem that way, so he didn't want to be associated with that. I want to be associated with that. Akim is not bad, but I am Anago James Akeem Osho.
[25/01 19:44] IBM 3: 👌

Thanks for this. To my next question

Name your top 3 festival in Nigeria...
[25/01 19:50] Anago Osho Adventures: I do not want to be partial. I have been to many festivals in the country and every one really try to uphold their culture. It is financially tasking to hold a festival, so what happens to those who don't have access to funding and sponsorship.
Anyway, Osun Osogbo festival and the Diaspora Festival in Badagry are great. And yes, Calabar carnival/Festival.
[25/01 19:52] IBM 3: ☺

Sincerely I understand when you say you don’t want to be partial.

We are really blessed in Nigeria and...

Don’t want to talk much jare 🤣

To my next question

Name your best Nigeria indigenous food....
[25/01 19:56] Anago Osho Adventures: I am not really a foodie but give me Eba, Efo riro, with a lot of locust bean (Iru), garnished with a lot of ponmo, and cooked local chicken.
[25/01 19:59] IBM 3: 😩 this will be absolutely delicious 😋.

Ok let see if you help Mrs Anago at home 😜

*Briefly explain how to prepare Efo riro....*

Our judges are the audience here 🥰. So judges please get ready and let us know if he fail ooo....
[25/01 20:08] IBM 3: @Anago Osho Adventures we are still waiting for you.

Please don’t go and ask oo. I will know oo 🤣
[25/01 20:09] +234 816 021 5068: 😁
[25/01 20:11] Anago Osho Adventures: I cook but not every time because i am often on the road.

To cook Efo riro, you will separate the leaves from the stem. Put the Palm oil inside the pot that is already on the stove. Slice the onions in the pot with oil. Pour the grinded pepper in the pot with the oil. Put maggi, locust beans, boiled chicken, Cray fish etc in the pot. Stir well. Pour the sliced and watched vegetables inside the pot then stir like three times, cover the pot for the ingredients to steam for about five to seven minutes and it will be ready to be served..
[25/01 20:11] IBM 3: My mind is telling me something...

Hmmm...

I will know sha... 😎
[25/01 20:12] IBM 3: I said it... ☹

Judges in the building please rate him (1-10)....
[25/01 20:13] IBM 3: 🥰
[25/01 20:13] IBM 3: As we get result from our judges

Ok 6th question

*Through your tours, you have educated and connected Africa Diaspora to Homeland Africa and vice versa. How would this reconnection contribute to the development of both Africa and it's Diaspora?*

@Anago Osho Adventures
[25/01 20:36] Anago Osho Adventures: There are many ways but let me mention some.

1, It helps us to see each other as families and help those who quest cultural and historical immersion.
2, To Black people in diaspora who have experienced racism like my friend Lisa from Brazil, her connection to Africa makes her to feel like a human being.
3, Africa diaspora should be considered in the race for economic, political, socio-cultural, and scientific development of Africa because of their contacts and experience. Tec.
[25/01 20:38] IBM 3: Hmmm ✍✍✍

This is really deep. Thanks for this sir.

But how will the relationship between Africa and its Africa Diaspora benefit the tourism industry in Nigeria?
[25/01 20:46] Nene NTW: 😂
[25/01 20:46] IBM 3: Yes ooo... so you like food like this ma.... ☹🤣🤣🤣
[25/01 20:47] Anago Osho Adventures: Africa Diaspora are a very important tool in the development of Africa and the financial gain for the tourism industry is enormous.
Ghana's year of return is an example. It is important to note that the original destination for Africa Diaspora is Nigeria. But the government of Ghana took advantage of Nigeria's lapses.
The advantage is so much.
The hotels and aviation industry will become so busy.
Local crafts automatically have a stable market.
Tour Guides become so busy through out the year.
Travel agents will reap bountifully etc.
[25/01 20:48] Nene NTW: I *love* food! 🥙🧆🌮🌯🥗🥘🍝🍜🍲🍛🍣🍱 And I have no shame about it 😆 I await our food tour hangout 😉 @Anago Osho Adventures
[25/01 20:59] Chima: Thanks for the chat @Anago Osho Adventures. Well done to the team that put this together
[25/01 21:05] IBM 3: Wow

This is really an advantage to us... Thanks for pointing this out sir 👏

So to my next question

Is the absence of full security in the communities a threat to your tours?
[25/01 21:05] IBM 3: Very sorry guys 9mobile just said no network 😭😭
[25/01 21:06] IBM 3: Next question boss

Is the absence of full security in the communities a threat to your tours?

@Anago Osho Adventures
[25/01 21:12] IBM 3: Really sorry for the break in transmission.

@Anago Osho Adventures also need attend to something also.

When he is available we will wrap this up...

Just 2 more questions to go
[25/01 21:16] Anago Osho Adventures: There are so many tour packages that i run but don't function anymore due to safety of lives and property.
Lack of security have affected so many tourism businesses. We are hopeful and we can do so much collectively with government creating the enabling environment.
[25/01 21:18] IBM 3: Oh 😢

Security is really affecting so many things in tourism but we should also note it is not like before

From your experience @Anago Osho Adventures Who is a tour guide?
[25/01 21:23] Anago Osho Adventures: According to Anago James Akeem Osho, a professional Tour Guide is a person who has chosen the promotion and marketing of a Tourist product: a place, monument, object, town, village, country, history, beach, Festival etc., as his profession and from time to time do meet, educate and tour people; tourists or excursionist’s around the tourist product and charges a fee.
The sum totals of attractions natural, historical, cultural or man made with services, which will result into tourist satisfaction, are the products or commodities the Tourist Guides sell. The relationship between the Tourist Guide and his Tourists products should be intimate and spiritual.
[25/01 21:25] IBM 3: Wow

Thanks so much @Anago Osho Adventures it was an amazing time with you.

Last question for *ONE on ONE TOUISM GIST FOR JANUARY 2020*

You lamented in 2019 concerning many of your tourists that were refused visas by Nigerian embassies, especially the ones in U.S.A and Malaysia. What are your suggestions to the relevant government Agency on the issue.
[25/01 21:32] Anago Osho Adventures: The Nigerian Foreign Service should be re educated about the reasons why they work in the ministry. They are Nigeria's representative over sea, and should not frusterate the efforts of international visitors who genuinely want to visit Nigeria.
The NIGERIA visa process should also be looked at. The world is a global village so where is Nigeria in the global development?
[25/01 21:33] IBM 3: Hmmmm.... 🥰💪🏼
[25/01 21:34] Anago Osho Adventures: Nigerian embassy's staffs and ambassadors should represent the country well.
[25/01 21:36] IBM 3: True sir.

Thanks so much for enlightening us for all this...

God bless you in all your endeavors. You are truly a tourism enthusiast.
[25/01 21:36] Exodus 3: 👍🤜🤜
[25/01 21:37] IBM 3: To anyone that have one or two questions feel free to drop them and @Anago Osho Adventures will attend to it as soon as he can....
[25/01 21:37] IBM 3: It has really been a long gist but glory to God we are throug with *ONE on ONE TOURISM GIST FOR JANUARY 2020*

[25/01 21:44] Exodus 3: Well done @Anago Osho Adventures for a wonderful time out ...

Let me weigh in before d questions start coming in ...

I think we can leverage on the Amotekun Initiative to boost security for the tourism industry for South West Nigeria. What do you think sir?
[25/01 21:53] IBM 3: 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼
[25/01 21:53] IBM 3: Yes ooo amotekun
[25/01 22:22] Anago Osho Adventures: GREAT!

The Anago in Benin Republic, Togo and Nigeria By Anago James Akeem Osho (A response to an email sent to Anago James Akeem Osho)

Dear brother Anago Osho, When you have the time, could you share some information with me. I was under the impression that the Africans in the Republic of Benin known as Nago were Yoruba. In fact I thought they were call Nago because they may have been from the Anago. When I was in the Republic of Benin last. I was in the town Quidah. I happen to meet a Yoruba man who was working as a tour guide on one of these European tour buses. He was a Yoruba from Ibadan. In my conversation with him, he informed me that the Nago were not Yoruba. How can this be? I wanted to debate with this Brother, but I change my mind. I asked myself, "How can I debate with this Brother who is Yoruba and myself was born the the United States? Maybe he has some history that I am not aware of. Even though I was born in the U.S., I am so-called African American. On top of that, I am an Orisha and Ifa worshipper. In studying the historical experience of slavery in the West, one of the strongest spiritual trad...
