The new Eco currency will really liberate the French speaking African nations from economic dependency.
There were mixed feelings when President Macron of France visited Coted'voire (Ivory Coast) and announced that France will change the name of Fcefa to Eco, which will be spent in 8 french speaking countries only, deviating from the original plan of ECOWAS for the Eco currency to be spent in all Ecowas states and now France is instilling the statusquo.
Some people are of the opinion that nothing will change except the name.
Attention! Attention!! Brother Kemi Seba had been the voice of the youths and the voiceless in the French speaking world for quite a while. We should be focused as we support each other and let love lead.
Kemi Seba was born in France but relocated to Senegal and unfortunately was later expelled from Senegal on the command of France. Rather than go back to France, he returned to the birthplace of his parents, Benin Republic, where he could not be deported.
Kémi Séba, born Stellio Gilles Robert Capo Chichi on December 9, 1981, is a French-Beninese writer, activist, and Pan-Africanist political leader. Since April 2013, he is a geopolitical analyst in several West African televisions and gives lectures about Pan-Africanism in many African universities. (Wikipedia).
Kemi Seba had been arrested and jailed many times and now in Burkinafaso during one of his invitations to speak at an event to the people of that french colonized country.
He was tried in court yesterday the 26th of December, 2019. On this day, in Ouidah (Whydah) at the EcoloJah village, we were following the court case and proceeding between the government of Burkinabe and Brother Kemi Seba.
He mentioned that his crime was that he encourages the African people to free their minds. He was also quoted as saying that "the president of Burkinafaso is a puppet in the hand of France", and he was arrested.
According to monsieur Everest, a follower of Kemi Seba, who believes that Mr Kemi should be free and especially now that the Eco currency is seen by the youths to be a way to rebuild the economy of the country .
At the court house, the judge asked Kemi Seba if he would repeat the statement again, and Kemi responded by saying yes! The judge said, "why should you call the president of Burkinafaso a puppet in the hand of France?". Kemi Seba responded that when President Donald Trump of the United States of America called Africa "a shit hole" nobody arrested him.
Imagine Haiti, a country that has oil, and many natural resources to be called a poor nation.
