West African countries adopt new single currency

As West African countries prepare to adopt the new unifying single currency called Eco, i realized that people have different opinion on the matter but for regional unity, development and easy transactions between West African businesses, I support the idea.

It will also help countries with huge inflation. Business will boom drastically as trade or transactions across West will become easy. It will unite the countries and everyone will have a sense of brotherhood.

Eco currency across West Africa will liberate the French speaking countries from the pang and control of France. It is unfortunate that the French speaking African countries don't have their own central bank or reserve, everything is organized from Paris. For many years, France had kicked against French speaking West Africans from been a part of this.

Eco currency is good news and travellers won't think of the hardship of how to change currency from one country to another in West Africa. It saves time and energy.

Eco will stabilize the economy of West Africa. And those who profit from the rise of inflation would be kicked out.

The African Diaspora should support this effort. This is the beginning of the African unity we seek. According to Keith Cooper, he agrees to the development and he said it is a good news. He commented that Zimbabwe is doing something similar and had kicked out the dollar and created their own currency. How ever, he lamented that this is dangerous because the West will lose out on their exploitation of Africa in many ways and that both areas should prepare as the EU will stage a coup to frustrate the noble effort.

Nii Kpakpo Allotei-Coffie is optimistic and he is opinioned that such intrigue should be expected but dealt with abruptly. Mr Henry Olumide Durojaiye, thinks differently as he suggests that the action will pose big challenges and responsibilities to big economies like Nigeria and Ghana. According to him, these countries will recieve the heat peradventure anything goes wrong like global meltdown, currency fraud, and capital punishment that will follow by world big players like the EU/U.S. He said that the government's of these countries should be prepared for tough times ahead.
