The main actors are children but the adult carreta groups are more organized and advanced. This write up is concerned about the children carreta. The carreta season is a time when kids go around their immediate communities in Lagos, characterized by dance and songs during december and atimes during easter. Some of the kids are masked, and these are usually the dancers. Others come behind with songs and drumming. The purpose is to sensitize the community that festive or celebration season is here. It precedes Christmas and new year in Lagos, Nigeria. 4 days walking tour from Tarkwa Bay to Badagry: Pollution, Beauty and History By Anago Osho The 62 km ocean trail and hike along the Coast of Lagos State took four days from Tarkwa Bay to Badagry, with creative stops, wellness, camping, villa stays, great food, great company, and yes, very - very great physical challenge. On this ocean trail walking tour, Mr Akin of Pop Beach Club, observed the decline of the birds and crab population on the shores compared to his experience on the same trail in 2018. The truth of his observation was that back then, you will be forced to walk on the other side of the beach, away from the shore because of the armies of crabs on the sea shore and numerous birds flying above in the sky as they set their prying eyes on the numerous prey to feed on but today, all these spectacles seems to have disappeared. It is sad that plastic pollution had taken over the ocean shores of Lagos and it's true that it's the same experience across the world. It is dis
